Sean Hooper 200m & 400m
Keller Fossil Ridge (Tx.) senior Sean Hooper has the kind of resume that stands out to any track fan. He's one of the top runners in the country in everything from the indoor 60m dash to the 800m. And his 200m-400m double this weekend was arguably one of the best.
He dominated in both events. His 200m qualifying time was 21.38 (-0.2) and his 400m time was 47.91. Over the finals, he ran 46.42 in the 400m, lowering is US No. 3 mark. In the 200m he continued to dominate, running a wind-legal and US No. 7 time of 21.31 (-1.4). Three other runners in the field also went sub-22, including Nick Alexander, Caleb Boger and Frederic Williams.
