What Boys Will Make The Biggest Impact During the Indoor Track & Field Season?

Chris Choquette, Cumberland

In a race that was decided by inches, Choquette produced a mild upset by defeating Hendricken's Ethan Famiano in the 55m hurdles at the State Meet where both were timed in 7.73. Choquette led a senior-laden group in the race. The next five finishers behind him have since graduated. Right now, the Clipper senior's biggest rival appears to be East Greenwich's Connor Sheridan.  The versatile Sheridan, who won the decathlon at the AAU Junior Olympics last summer with a state record of 6,103 points, clocked an all-time best of 7.83 in his preliminary heat at the State Meet. This event could be a repeat of last year's race with a down-to-the-wire finish.
