Lydia Donahue (Champlain Valley Union) ran 2:22.70 in the 800 meters at the Colchester HS TF Meet 1 on April 28, improving from her previous best of 2:59.25 set in April 2026. The sophomore's time ranks #3 in Vermont and #1 among underclassmen in the state. Donahue placed second in a field of 13 competitors.
Beckett Bailey (Lyndon Institute) won the 100 meters in 11.44 at the Lyndon Home Meet 1 on April 29, dropping from his previous personal record of 12.28. The time moves Bailey to #9 in the state rankings among 460 competitors. Bailey also set a personal record in the javelin, throwing 130-0 to improve from 120-4.75.
Tristan Morley (Lake Region) ran 11.59 in the 100 meters at the Lyndon Home Meet 1 on April 29, improving from a previous best of 12.30. The senior's time ranks #15 statewide and #2 among seniors in Vermont. Morley also posted a personal record in the 200 meters, clocking 25.18 to better his previous mark of 25.22.
Rylie Wells (Essex) recorded 11:49.27 in the 3000 meters at Essex HS TF Meet 2 on April 28, improving from 12:12.30 set in April 2026. The freshman's time ranks #23 in Vermont and #3 among first-year athletes statewide. Wells also set a personal record in the 1500 meters with a time of 5:37.60, improving from 5:41.41.
Bella Walsh (Rice Memorial) ran 13.07 in the 100 meters at Essex HS TF Meet 2 on April 28, bettering her previous mark of 13.41. The junior ranks #8 statewide and leads all juniors in Vermont in the event. Walsh also recorded a personal best of 27.08 in the 200 meters, improving from 27.58.
Jack Rubie (Montpelier) clocked 11.59 in the 100 meters at the Lyndon Home Meet 1 on April 29, dropping from his previous personal record of 12.16 set in April 2026. The sophomore ranks #15 statewide and #2 among underclassmen in Vermont. Rubie placed third in a field of 26 competitors.
