Oren Maier (Unattached VT) ran 11.56 in the 100 meters at the MAU SVL Meet on May 5, improving from his previous best of 12.15 set in April 2026. The senior's time ranks #16 in Vermont and #3 among seniors, and set a school record. Maier placed second among 45 competitors and also set a personal best in the long jump with 18-9.75, improving from 17-4.5.
Noah Malloy (Sharon Academy) clocked 11.50 in the 100 meters at Springfield SVL Host Meet 2 on May 5, dropping from his previous mark of 11.92. The junior ranks #15 in Vermont and #4 among juniors, and his time established a Sharon Academy school record. Malloy finished second of 40 runners and also recorded a personal best of 24.48 in the 200 meters, improving from 25.99.
Thomas Crowers (Mount Anthony Union) ran 9:50.28 in the 3200 meters at the Dr. Jack V. Irion Queensbury Invitational on May 9, cutting nearly 20 seconds from his previous best of 10:09.88 set in May 2026. The junior ranks #2 in Vermont and placed fourth among 32 competitors.
